FORT MISSOULA HISTORY & LOLO HOT SPRINGS

We have so much history in our area and we are about to explore it even more. We will start our adventure out with a visit to the Smoke Jumper School in Missoula and then to the Big Sky Brewery for information and sampling. A great lunch on your own and then onto Ft. Missoula, did you know that during WWII this was an ADC (Alien Detention Center) and was the first Black Bicycle Platoon for the military and so much more history? We will then head out to the Lolo Hot springs resort for a well deserved soak and dinner at the Wolf Creek Steak House (on your own). Next day we will wind our way back home over Lolo Pass with its incredible views and along the Clearwater River with a stop at Kooskia fish hatchery to learn about the river fish.
